Nicely painted portrait of King, Howard! I used to own a dunn mare that was a grand-daughter of King P-234. She would dapple a bit in the sun just like your painting of King. Her registered name was Pokeys Pal and she was owned by a Quarterhorse farm in Oregon. They put her up for auction and I bought her and raised a beautiful colt from her. She was very gentle and built similar to her wonderful Grand-sire. Thanks for bringing back some great memories. Jean
